Animals available for adoption

These amazing people ensure your little ones and not so little ones are happy and safe whilst they are with us.

Help these animals find a home!

At Southern Cross, we believe in re-homing all pets, especially Kittens. .

Being a busy vet clinic we often have stray animals and lost pets handed into our clinics both at St Peters and Bellevue Hill so we have created a page to show all the pets we have available for adoption.

A vet clinic isn’t a place for any animal to grow up so we hope to get them into loving homes as quickly as possible.

Kitten adoption fees are $295 for females, $250 for males unless stated otherwise.

Adopting through us covers the costs of their microchipping, all 3 vaccinations, desexing and the flea, worming and medical treatment that is done in our care.

As a part of our policy with kitten adoptions, all kittens must be brought back to us between 5-6 months old unless desexing is done prior to adoption. We have this policy in place to help reduce the number of stray cats and kittens living in the Sydney Metropolitan area.

Prices for all other pets available will be listed on their profiles below.

We hope you fall in love with our pets available for adoption so they can go to their FURever homes.

Anna

Approx 12-16 weeks old

Female Black and Ginger Tortie DSH

Anna is a sweet girl who wasn’t given the best start at life but is making up for it now with all the cuddles she gets from people passing by the clinic. She has a striking coat with mixes of ginger and black that makes her stand out from the rest. She adores her brother Kristoff, and ideally they should be adopted to a home that can take them both. Her favourite things to do are to run around the clinic and hide under drawers and snuggle with her brother Kristoff. She is ready now for immediate adoption.

Kristoff

Approx 12-16 weeks old

Male Ginger DSH

Kristoff is a gorgeous ginger boy who has drawn lots of attention for his gorgeous coat. Originally one of three with his sister Anna, the remaining two have now bonded closely so we would love to rehome them together. Kristoff is more than happy to laze about in the sun all day especially if his sister Anna is close by.

Crunchie

Approx 8-12 weeks old

Female Tan Tabby DSH

Crunchie is a highly energetic little girl that is ready to take on the world. She has found a love for lactose free yogurt and cardboard boxes during her time at the clinic. Crunchie needs a home that will keep her stimulated with plenty of toys and love. She would be OK to go to a home with dogs and cats but a trial would be necessary to ensure they get along with each other. She is ready for immediate adoption

Caramello

Approx 8-12 weeks old

Female Tan Tabby DSH

Caramello is the gorgeous sister to our almost identical Crunchie kitten who would love to go to a similar home. Caramello loves human affection and especially loves climbing onto shoulders and observing the world from above. Like her sister Crunchie she also has found a love for lactose free yogurt and will happily lick it off your finger or from the tub. Caramello would be OK to go to a home with dogs and cats but a trial would be necessary to ensure they get along with each other. She is ready for immediate adoption.

Raffaello

Approx 8-12 weeks old

Male White Chested Tabby DSH

Raffaello has stolen many hearts of people passing by the clinic with his stunning eyes. He is an adventurous soul who would love a home who could keep up with his energy levels. He loves to climb anything he can find so would do well with a cat tower or something similar, but will sit on your shoulder if he can’t find anything else. For his downtime he will happily snuggle into your pocket or shirt to get nice and warm. Raffaello should be OK to go to a home with dogs and cats but a trial would be necessary to ensure they get along with each other. Available for immediate adoption.

Frodo

Approx 8-10 weeks old

Male Black and Tan Tabby DSH

Frodo might be small, but he certainly isn’t small on energy! Frodo is our little firecracker. He is always up for play time, and loves to explore the clinic as soon as his door is opened. Frodo is certainly unique, with a hairless tip of his tail but this just adds to his interesting character. Frodo should be OK to go to a home with dogs and cats but a trial would be necessary to ensure they get along with each other. Available for immediate adoption.

Frosty

Approx 12-16 weeks old

Male White + Black DSH

Frosty is the adventurer of the clinic with him first out of the cage as soon as the door is open. He would be content roaming all day and exploring every crevasse possible. Frosty has found a love for shoes and shoelaces during his time here and plays with them any chance he gets, especially when the nurses stop to do a task. Frosty should be OK to go to a home with dogs and cats but a trial would be necessary to ensure they get along with each other. Available for immediate adoption.
